FORMATION OPPORTUNITIES

Adult education is a vibrant part of the life of Covenant. An important line in our congregation’s mission statement calls us to support “a culture of intellectual, spiritual, and emotional freedom where dogma, institutional constraints, theology, belief, and faith are examined, questioned and, if needed, reformed.”

We are challenged and our faith is deepened through participation in the many adult education classes offered on Sunday mornings and other times during the week. Check out the home page for upcoming events. Please join us as we seek to serve God with our minds, our hearts, and our hands.

STUDY and FELLOWSHIP GROUPS

Covenant Presbyterian has a wonderful small group ministry. For Bible study, we offer a weekly men’s group, and the pastor provides topical, limited series throughout the year.

Our women’s spirituality groups meet weekly or bi-weekly for meditation and study. Guided by trained spiritual directors, the goal of these groups is the deepening of spiritual practices and sharing of the faith journey.

The Covenant Choir is a weekly gathering of people who join their voices to sing every Sunday in worship. They are leaders in worship, and support each other in study and prayer. Our Director of Music also offers shorter term opportunities like drumming and handbells.

Covenant’s potluck dinner groups meet monthly at members’ homes. These groups are organized in the fall, but you can be added to the guest list at any point during the year.

Children’s activities and youth groups engage our families with children in faith development and fellowship. Join us for laser tag, Six Flags, and retreats when offered.

Study and fellowship groups are an easy way to meet people at Covenant. Check out our latest news for more information. You can sign up by contacting the church office.
